Republic Polytechnic is a tertiary education institution committed to advancing food innovation and sustainability through its Formulation, Nutrition, and Science Technology (FANS) Centre. The Centre collaborates with industry partners to develop nutritious, functional, and environmentally sustainable food products, contributing to Singapore’s long-term food security and supply resilience.
A/Prof Adison leads research in food and precision fermentation, leveraging microbial cell factories to transform low-cost side streams into sustainable proteins, functional ingredients, and other high-value bioproducts. In the capacity of Board Advisor, his thought leadership and guidance will provide students with meaningful exposure to biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, sustainability, and practical applications within the growing bioeconomy, while highlighting relevant career pathways.
